Overview

Our banking client is seeking an experienced Researcher to support internal communications and content initiatives across the organisation. This role will focus on researching, validating and curating information, ensuring internal communications and knowledge content remain accurate, clear and up to date.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with banking or financial services experience who enjoys working with stakeholders, managing information and improving the quality and accessibility of internal content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research across internal systems, documentation and business areas to gather and validate information

  • Support the creation, editing and maintenance of internal communications and knowledge content

  • Update and manage intranet pages, internal portals and shared knowledge repositories

  • Work closely with business SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance

  • Translate complex banking or operational information into clear, user-friendly language

  • Maintain content governance standards, version control and audit trails

  • Identify content gaps and recommend improvements to structure and accessibility

  • Support communications campaigns, announcements and internal updates as required

Experience & Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a research, content, communications or knowledge management role

  • Banking or financial services experience is essential

  • Experience updating intranet sites, knowledge bases or content management systems

  • Strong written communication and editing skills

  • Ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and organisational skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard collaboration tools

Desirable

  • Experience working within regulated environments

  • Exposure to internal communications or change programmes

  • Familiarity with SharePoint or similar content management platforms
