Employee Benefits Attorney: REMOTE Opportunity
Mid- sized law firm with 200 attorneys
Remote opportunity - Some weeks could be part-time hours; some full-time hours.
Qualified candidates will have:
- 5+ years of experience as an employee benefits attorney, including ERISA and ESOP work. Executive compensation experience a plus. LLM in Tax a plus.
- Flexible schedule, hours will vary from part-time to full time (solo practitioner or someone unemployed but flexible would work best)
Duties include:
- Support partner on a flexible- hours, remote basis
- Assist with reviewing, editing and drafting employee benefits plans (ERISA compliance work)
- Assist with reviewing and editing ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plans)
- Assist with compliance with HIPAA and other related privacy rules
