On behalf of our client in the heavy machinery business, Lucas Group is searching for a Regional Sales Manager who will be a leader responsible for achieving individual sales targets in Washington State to be located in the Wenatchee-Yakima area. To be successful in this role, the Regional Sales Manager must engage with customers and engineering team on various projects. This includes providing layouts and designs that are fit for purpose, market relevant, profitable and meet customer's needs.
Essential Duties:
+ Achieve individual sales and Margin targets as established by the Director of Sales.
+ Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company in Washington state. Plans visits with Director of Sales to key customers.
+ Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
+ Monitor, analyze sales, and market trends.
+ Review proposals ensuring information is correct, such as customer information, product description, pricing, and any additional information requested by the customer.
Work Activities:
+ Making Decisions and Solving Problems - Analyzing information and evaluating results
to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Requirements:
+ B.S.in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration. At least 5+ years’ experience in sales of capital equipment/complete systems.
+ Experience and expertise in the management of sales, including monitoring market needs, and building relationships with customers
+ Experience leading the resolution of customer’s needs, including issues with current equipment
+ Ability to manage relationships with multiple levels of management
+ Highly collaborative individual with ability to influence others and build strong professional relationships
+ Must be able to travel – 60% in region, some international (Passport Required)
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
