Job Description - Regional Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

Lucas Group is working with one of the largest franchisors in North America with system-wide revenue of $700M+ and over 1,700 franchise owners. For more than 25 years, our client has been helping entrepreneurs find their place in the work world with franchise opportunities across multiple home improvement and home service categories.

Our client is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) for the Northeast region. The Regional Marketing Manager will support the implementation of key, strategic marketing initiatives and educate and create local/regional programs helping bring the brands to life through PPC, SEO methods, social media, localized grass-roots, Media & Public Relations, sponsorships, tradeshows and community involvement initiatives. Must have working knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with members of the marketing, Business Customer Service Representative teams and the Franchisees.
  • Lead the development and execution of franchisee local area marketing plans that are aligned to brand standards, training and goals.
  • Plan and/or implement grass-root, marketing programs and other activities to drive lead generation, franchisee engagement and awareness working closely with the marketing team.
  • Assist/educate franchisees with marketing activities: social media, vendor relations, events, digital and organic marketing
  • Serve as the marketing expert in region. Provide marketing knowledge to franchisees on new digital innovations
  • Have firsthand knowledge of any negative impacts in the region - investigate and implement solutions for franchisees.
  • Train Franchisees on new and existing marketing programs.
  • Act as the primary region marketing contact to execute events, programs and activities; attend regular regional meetings and present Marketing updates.
  • Understand all corporate and local area marketing programs in order to communicate to franchisees.
  • Identify new local opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Proactively share best practices and successes with local franchisees and marketing team.
  • Track regional trends and competitor’s marketing programs.
  • Develop and manage established goal for the region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (marketing or related – preferred)
  • Highly proactive, self-starter individual who can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, and maintain great relationships.
  • Experienced working with vendor partners, media and negotiating contracts.
  • Data driven
  • Creative mindset and problem solver
  • Team player, collaborative, and reliable / trustworthy
  • Organized, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, see the big picture and escalate issues appropriately
  • Strong communication and influencing skills and able to work well cross-functionally
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Field marketing experience or relevant experience
  • 3+ years marketing experience within a retail or franchise organization preferred

Ability to travel 50% + within designated region (multiple state responsibility)
