Lucas Group is seeking a hands-on IT Manager for a regional role in Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone to continue to grow their hands-on technical skills while also getting the opportunity to oversee all of IT for the Ohio region and manage key technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as the local IT representative and provide division level support -Assist support desk and other IT personnel with troubleshooting when necessary
-Work closely with local users, plant personnel, management, other IT members, vendors and consultants to provide end user support and advancement of the IT systems
-Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure
-Provides technical leadership and guidance to staff in resolving daily support issues.
-Works closely with Division Presidents to ensure that division-wide support levels are meeting their requirements
-Work with suppliers and vendors for purchasing of IT equipment
-Manage IT related projects
-Management of mobile devices (procurement, setup, troubleshooting)
-Travel approximately 30% of the time to sites as needed
Requirements
-Three (3) plus years of experience in the field of IT, preferably with network management and end user support
-Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or IT related curriculum preferred
-Project management experience a plus
-Solid understanding of networking infrastructure devices (firewalls, managed switches, etc.)
-Experience in various IT disciplines
-Ability to install structured cabling including; networking, wireless, and camera systems
