The company is seeking an energetic, driven, and passionate leader to play a key role in our company’s growth. They have an opening for a Regional Director, Operations in our Senior Care Division. This is a full time, exempt level position in our El Segundo office.
How will you contribute?
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Senior Care division’s operations and ensure high quality care delivery
- Manage, train, and motivate Operations Managers and care delivery teams
- Ensure profitability, efficiency, and compliance (i.e. monitoring direct labor and caregiver pay rates, minimizing unnecessary costs, etc.)
- Develop strategies to improve client retention and increase quality care
- Analyze operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop relevant goals and action plans
- Participate in long-term business planning and performance-based compensation planning
- Advise Operations Managers on labor issues including safety, employee relations, scheduling, training, investigations, etc.
- Formulate and improve business processes and policies in support of organizational goals
- Maintain strong inter-departmental communication and ensure streamlined execution of service
- Monitor and report on operating costs, make recommendations, and implement solutions
- Oversee proper interviewing, selection, and training of new employees as well as coach and evaluate staff on performance management
- Counsel on escalated client/legal situations in a timely manner
- Promote and set a positive, safe, and fun cultural tone in the organization
What does it take to become a member?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years of management experience
- History of leading successful teams and exceeding goals
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters
- Proven leadership and development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with applicable industry laws and legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Available outside of normal business hours for emergencies and staff support
