Role Overview:
Lucas Group is currently looking for a Recruitment Specialist for a terrific Contract to Hire opportunity. The individual will play a major role in the recruitment for our client. This person will be responsible for driving recruiting strategy, building candidate and hiring manager relationships, and filling critical roles at the individual locations and working with General Managers. This role will make recommendations to both facilitate innovative sourcing strategies and implement and execute recruiting programs and practices that will expedite the candidate pipeline process in quickly delivering top talent for active job openings.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of Recruiting for the Retail Industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong Knowledge of ADP Vantage is required
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills are required and an essential part of this job
- Excellent telecommunication skills via phone, email, and other resources as available is required
- A high passion for recruiting and a positive, outgoing attitude is vital for this candidate
- High volume recruiting is required
- 10% Travel ability is required
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Human Resources department in partnering with General Managers in the field locations in their hiring efforts
- Training and supporting locations in the primary utilization of ADP Vantage as their primary recruiting tool to manage candidate pipeline
- Assist in creating job descriptions and job postings to manage candidate workflow through the Applicant Tracking System
- Set up appointments and interviews for the field locations
- Schedule weekly conference calls and road maps with Regional Vice Presidents and District Managers
- Create and implement email templates for recruiting objectives
- Handled large work load of requisitions with accuracy and professionalism
- Minimal travel , roughly 10%, to visit off-site job events and candidate events
