Real Estate Paralegal – Midtown Manhattan (in house)
Unique opportunity to join a large, publicly traded New York Real Estate Company
DUTIES:
- Partner with Corporate Leadership team to support various real estate matters, primarily landlord/tenant related legal issues.
- Support regulated rent compliance efforts, including paperwork for rent controlled, regulated or stabilized properties in New York City and beyond
- Assist with preparation, review and execution of real estate leases and other real estate related agreements
- Liaise between tenants and property management company
- Liaise with outside counsel
- Helpful to have experience supporting developers in acquisitions, sales and development of real property (particularly multifamily properties)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree
- Paralegal Certificate a Plus
- In House experience preferred, will also consider candidates from mid to large law firms
- 5+ years of Real Estate Paralegal experience performing the above duties
