Lucas Group has partnered with a growing client in the Canton Area for a Supply Quality Engineer. The Supply Quality Engineer will review performances and advance corrective actions for incoming products. Establish, evaluated and investigate incoming products inspection data to correct quality and delivery issues. The Supply Quality Engineer will conduct audits, reduce waste, and work on continuous improvements.
This is a contract to direct opportunity.
Additional Skills needed
- Develop relations with suppliers and build score cards to help improve quality
- Develop samples plans for incoming parts
- Travel to supplier locations to Perform audits and assessment of suppliers
- Analyze the data for incoming part defects
Education
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or related experience or skills\
- Plus Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) not required
- ISO 1348 or ISO 9001
- Lean Manufacturing – Six Sigma – Green Belt (Plus)
- Minitab and Tableau knowledge a plus
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft word (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
