We have partnered with our client, a design and manufacturing company located in NW Houston, in their search for a Quality Supervisor. This is a contract engagement that is expected to go through March 2024. This position will be working 100% in office.
Responsibilities
Oversee the work of 3 receiving inspectors
Drive process improvement activities
Focus on supplier continuous improvement efforts, which include visiting suppliers for audits, follow up and tracking corrective plans.
Perform internal audits and facilitate action plans for nonconformances
Conduct/Organize training of employees on ISO-9001, statistical techniques
Skills Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven teamwork and leadership skills
Extensive understanding of statistics
Proficient in data analysis - identifying patterns or trends
Expertise in ISO audits
Supplier improvements
Hands-on measurement knowledge
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in a Technical Field
5-10+ years experience as a Quality Engineer or equivalent
