Lucas Group has partnered with a Client in the Atlanta Area for a Manufacturing/Quality Engineer that will develop, improve and support documentation of production, quality and inspection processes for complex aerospace products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluates and develops manufacturing methods and processes required to meet design objectives for new or improved products and/or processes; soliciting observations from operators, project engineering and quality personnel
- Will develop instructions and aid in the layout of Inspection methods and sequences
- Responsible to help drive process improvements and efficiency gains
- Reviewing Engineering Change Notices and drawing changes as required for manufacturability
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government and industry standards
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or related Engineering field
- 5-10 Years minimum experience.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Pro-E, Solidworks, etc)
- CNC Programming Skills (Mastercam, G Code) 2 – 4 axis (must have)
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance and Standard Measurement & Test Equipment for Aerospace products
- A high attention to detail is required
