Lucas Group is partnering with one of our clients on a search for qualified candidates to fill a CDIS Quality Assurance Engineer position. This company provides software solutions and consulting strictly within the upstream (E&P) oil and gas industry.
Job Overview
Qualified candidates will be highly skilled in the testing methodology in addition to test automation. This individual will predominately interface with they company's domain feature owners', developer lead and build engineer.
Job Functions
- Analyze user stories and identify test cases for user stories
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Create and maintain test cases including functional and end-to-end testing workflow
- Design & implementation of all functional tests in required automation framework and monitor all development cycles
- Develop and maintain performance test suite
- Execute automation and manual regression suite and prepare status reports for all progress
- Coordinate with development team and feature owners to analyze all functional and non-functional requirements for all automation test framework and provide training if required.
- Identify, record, document and track bugs
Critical Skills Required
- 3-5 years+ QA Automation experience in a build environment
- Microsoft Test Manager
- Ranorex – Test Automation Tool
- Visual Studio – Windows Development Environment
- Linux / Scripts
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
