We have partnered with our client in their search for a User Acceptance Test (UAT) Specialist. This 7-month contract will support a Testing Center of Excellence, performing functional and regression testing throughout development, release, and production-readiness cycles. The position is onsite five days per week in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Execute functional and regression user acceptance testing (UAT) for application releases
- Develop and maintain UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts in qTest
- Prepare test data and conduct parallel testing to validate new-system results against existing systems
- Identify, analyze, document, and communicate defects, testing results, risks, and progress
- Partner with Operations teams to support software quality and timely defect resolution
- Maintain testing documentation and assist with monthly and quarterly testing reports
- Support testing across multiple applications and releases while meeting established deadlines
Skills
- Experience with user acceptance, functional, and regression testing of business applications and processes
- Hands-on experience developing test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts, including experience with qTest and test-data preparation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience identifying, analyzing, documenting, and reporting defects
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple testing priorities under tight deadlines
- Java, Selenium, and/or UDF automation experience preferred
Education & Work Experience
Previous relevant experience in a testing or technical support environment required.
