We have partnered with a Leading FS client of ours for a Quality Engineer.
This role is Hybrid- 2 days a week in the south of the country
Contract: initial 6 months (highly likely to extend
Day rate: €350-380
 
Responsibilities
  • Testing the design and development of web applications
  • Responsible for collaborating and communicating with their squad
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and Regression Test existing systems
  • Document and maintain Testing functionality
  • Contribute to maintaining and updating the automation framework
  • Support the testing of front-end web applications and API solutions, that are high quality, fully performing and comply with all standards and best practices in support of our business and client outcomes and objectives.
  • Work independently and apply advanced test engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables.
  • You will have a good knowledge of Testing Best Practices.
  • Strong automation background with the ability to design and execute optimal test strategies that leverage our automation capabilities to maximum effect.
  • Automate and maintain highly effective test cases.
  • Leverage automation to help supplement manual testing to optimise test cycle times and the lead time for delivery of new functionality.
  • Ability to focus on task at hand, follow-through on prescribed plan with ability to be flexible and think under pressure.
  • Highly motivated team player with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve.

  • Qualifications
    • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience
    • Experience in Financial Services / Life insurance a plus
    • Experience in Automation (Cypress, Tosca)
    • Postman/Ready API testing experience
  • JIRA Experience
  • Agile Methodologies
  • qTest proficient
