We have partnered with our client in their search for a QA Automation Engineer
Responsibilities
• Use tools like JIRA to document software requirements in Gherkin format using cucumber framework that will help in test driven development and test automation.
• Design Test Scenarios and develop test plan for System integration testing and User acceptance testing
• Develop software that will be used in automation of the quality assurance phase of JPMorgan Wealth Management Servicing Platform that includes multiple internal facing web applications, middleware services and databases.
• Develop test automation software using Selenium web-driver, Rest assured Java framework for the user interface and the APIs (Application programming interface) for the various JPMorgan Wealth Management Servicing platform features.
• Evaluate and identify the right automation tool and framework for new features.
• Develop code to execute the automation test suite and generate the test execution report as part of CI/CD (Continuous integration and Continuous deployment) pipeline.
• Produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code. Must also support and participate in system and integrated testing across sub-systems as the need arises.
• Perform regression testing for every release to ensure the new code is not negatively impacting existing functionalities. Automate the regression test cases to speed up future code deployments.
• Ensure coverage of all aspects of application testing and test automation
Skills Required
Must have:
- 6 plus years experience.
- Business analyst experience
- Hands on experience in test automation frameworks like Gherkin, Selenium, Cypress etc.
- Good understanding with Java
- Hands on experience in test driven development and frameworks like Cucumber
Nice to have:
- Mobile experience
- Exposure to UI
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years’ experience related field.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Hands on experience in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress etc..
• Hands on experience in test driven development and frameworks like Cucumber
• Proficient in PL/SQL and reading, writing SQL queries,
• Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work with diversified multi-location team.
• Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery.
• Experience with Maven build and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Source repositories Bitbucket or GitHub.
