We have partnered with our client in their search for a Python Automation Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities
- Design crosscloud and onprem solutions for security, compliance, and analytics
- Build automation for control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation across environments
- Develop production code in Python and Go; contribute to Java components when needed
- Implement policyascode guardrails in build and release pipelines
Orchestrate workflows with Kubernetes and workflow services such as Step Functions
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and related tooling
Skills Required
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Handson system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in Python and backend and automation use cases
- Experience with CI/CD and secure development practices
- Practical experience on Azure and AWS, plus ability to build on onprem platforms
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- Experience with build pipelines and tooling such as Jenkins
- Ability to create analytics from telemetry (metrics, logs, traces) and build dashboards
- Understanding of audit, compliance, and security controls in regulated environments
- Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Step Functions) or equivalents
- Effective collaboration and communication in agile teams
