We have partnered with our client in their search for a Python Developer to work remotely- EST

Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Python contractor to support development, debugging, and issue resolution efforts. This is a hands-on role focused on quickly understanding existing systems, fixing defects, and delivering reliable code improvements.

  • * Write, modify, and maintain Python code for existing applications
    * Debug and resolve defects in production and non-production environments
    * **Quickly analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes** is a must
    * Support API development and troubleshooting (REST services)
    * Work on enhancements, bug fixes, and small feature implementations
    * Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and issues
    * Review logs, debug failures, and improve system stability
    * Work with databases to troubleshoot data-related issues

Skills Required

  • * Strong hands-on experience with Python development (3-7 years)
    * Proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting production issues
    * Experience with web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, or Django)
    * Strong understanding of APIs and backend services
    * Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
    * Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
    * Good understanding of Git and version control
    * Ability to quickly ramp up on existing codebases

    Nice to Have
    * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
    * Familiarity with logs/monitoring tools
    * Experience working in agile / fast-paced environments
    * Basic knowledge of Docker or containerized apps
