Our client is a large industrial manufacturer in the greater Kenosha, WI area. We are beginning a partnership in search for their next Purchasing Manager. They have been in business for over twenty-five years and operate and have grown rapidly. The organization works closely with its customers to design and build solutions that satisfy specific needs and individual applications. As a result, their low volume-high mix product line is the most diverse of any major manufacturer in their industry.
The Purchasing Manager oversees the procurement department utilizing hands-on leadership strategies. He/She will analyze market conditions to determine material availability and research suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service. In addition, the Purchasing Manager will negotiate with suppliers and maintain the procurement reporting systems, purchasing records and supplier information.
