Project Manager - Terminals (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with a client who specializes in the midstream/terminals space who is currently seeking a Project Manager to be based out of Portland, OR. This position will report to the VP Major Project Group and will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned capital projects. This position requires the candidate to manage multiple projects simultaneously within the approved budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the construction phase of projects, with previous exposure to Terminal projects for the Oil & Gas industry. Candidates with experience building rail offloading/loading facilities or doing marine work, and who have a strong understanding of piping codes API 1104; B31.3; B31.8 are a high priority.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related discipline

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience managing projects and construction in a petroleum/chemical terminal, petrochemical plant or refinery offsites.
• Familiarity with PIDs/PFDs, facility site planning, equipment specification and procurement, and construction package assembly.
• Piping codes API 1104; B31.3; B31.8
• Previous Construction phase experience
• Strong interpersonal communication, organization and writing skills
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Microsoft Project.
• Ability to build strong relationships
