This position is responsible for directing the activities of the technology transfer efforts of the business and is responsible for interactions with the other departments in order to coordinate project activities that involve other departments including Quality, Manufacturing, Commercialization staff and senior leadership. The position is also responsible for supporting corporate goals such as decisions and policies with respect to staffing safety, quality, marketing and business development.

 

Responsibilities include but limited to:

  • Creating various tools and templates to build the project management practices in the organization
  • Setting up the project management process and systems in the organization
  • Leading cross functional strategic forums with key stakeholders to ensure new initiatives are aligned with organization needs
  • Managing and providing direction for new processes, methodologies for various project management frameworks
  • Participating on project teams (e.g. Steering Committees. development Teams, launch teams etc.) for technology process related projects
  • Lead project management effort for tracking the progress of activities, identify the potential problems and proactively act on solutions to address them in advance.
  • Drive the teams responsible for execution of projects from inception to launch of the products
  • Coordinates technical communications associated with technology transfer facilitation between Operations and R&D

 

Qualifications

  • B.S./M.S. in Scientific Field.  Pharm Science Degrees highly preferred.
  • Five (5) years in Product development with a focus on Quality and commercialization of products from concept to commercialization.   Will consider those from within Pharmaceutical, Biologic, Medical Device and/or Vaccine industries.
  • Five (5) years in a Technical services or related sub discipline
  • Proven project management experience desired, 3 years preference.
  • PMP, Project Management Certification a plus
