Project Manager - IT / Data Integration
Location: Dublin (hybrid)
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: May 2026 target
Sector: Global Life Sciences
Company: Korn Ferry is partnering with a global Life Sciences organisation on a major integration programme following a recent acquisition.
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a complex, high-visibility integration programme with a targeted go-live in September, followed by approximately six months of post-go-live integration activity.
This role will initially sit close to core IT and data-related workstreams, helping to coordinate delivery across multiple systems and functions as part of an accelerated Day 1 operating model. The environment is fast-moving and cross-functional, and the successful person will need to bring strong project discipline while also being comfortable operating in ambiguity, joining dots across teams, and adapting as priorities evolve.
While the initial emphasis is likely to be around IT/data and closely linked workstreams, this is not expected to be a narrow siloed role. The programme requires people who can work broadly across the integration, support interdependencies, and step into adjacent areas where needed.
Key responsibilities
- Support delivery of a complex integration programme, with early focus on IT, systems, and data-related workstreams.
- Drive day-to-day project management activity including planning, tracking, RAID management, dependency management, status reporting, and stakeholder updates.
- Help coordinate an accelerated Day 1 operating model across multiple internal systems and functions.
- Work across teams to ensure critical deliverables are aligned ahead of go-live, including readiness activity, issue resolution, and escalation management.
- Partner with business and functional stakeholders to clarify actions, remove blockers, and keep workstreams moving at pace.
- Contribute to governance and programme control, ensuring actions, risks, decisions, and milestones are well managed and visible.
- Operate flexibly across workstreams as programme needs shift, rather than staying narrowly tied to one functional area.
- Support integration activity beyond go-live, helping to stabilise delivery and maintain momentum through the post-Day 1 phase.
Candidate profile
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in complex transformation, integration, or large-scale business/IT programmes.
- Good exposure to IT, systems, data migration, data readiness, ERP, or broader technology-enabled transformation.
- Comfortable supporting multiple workstreams and managing interdependencies across functions.
- Strong delivery discipline, with the ability to bring structure to moving parts and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Able to work effectively in an ambiguous environment where scope may continue to evolve.
- Strong communicator with confidence engaging stakeholders across different levels and functions, including global teams.
- Life Sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience would be advantageous, but strong cross-functional integration experience is more important than deep sector specialism.
Personal style
- Proactive and detail-oriented.
- Calm and practical in a fast-paced environment.
- Naturally collaborative and willing to work across team boundaries.
- Solutions-focused, with a habit of looking across functions to find answers rather than waiting for direction.
- Comfortable operating internationally and building relationships across dispersed teams.
