Project Manager - SIS Replacement Project
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support a large-scale Student Information System (SIS) Replacement initiative. This individual will be responsible for driving project execution, managing cross-functional dependencies, coordinating stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring key roadmap milestones are delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project plans, schedules, and roadmap deliverables
- Coordinate technical, business, and executive stakeholders
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Lead status meetings and provide executive-level reporting
- Drive milestone readiness and stakeholder accountability
- Ensure projects remain on track, within scope, and aligned to strategic objectives
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within enterprise IT environments
- Experience leading large-scale software implementations, system migrations, or transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Proven experience managing project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery across multiple workstreams
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or Azure DevOps
Preferred Qualifications
- Student Information System (SIS) experience
- Higher Education industry experience
- ERP implementation or system modernization experience
- PMP Certification
- Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery experience
