Project Manager - Salesforce Transformation
Location: Dublin (Hybrid )
Contract: Initial contract to year end (strong potential for extension)
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the early stages of a major Salesforce-enabled business transformation programme. This is not a technical Salesforce implementation role; instead, they require a seasoned delivery professional who can bring structure, governance and delivery discipline to a complex business change initiative.
The successful candidate will join ahead of the discovery phase, working closely with business stakeholders and the Salesforce implementation partner to establish the foundations of the programme before the wider implementation begins.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong project delivery background and previous experience delivering Salesforce programmes, without needing to be a dedicated Salesforce specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage project governance, reporting and delivery frameworks
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones and workstream plans
- Own RAID logs, issue management, risk tracking and dependency management
- Coordinate multiple business and technology workstreams throughout discovery and implementation
- Facilitate steering committees and governance meetings
- Manage relationships across business, operations, IT and external implementation partners
- Ensure programme momentum through effective planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Support mobilisation activities ahead of the full implementation programme
- Drive delivery best practice and project controls throughout the lifecycle
Required Experience
- Extensive experience delivering complex business transformation programmes as a Project Manager
- Strong governance, reporting and project control experience
- Proven experience managing RAID logs, programme planning and delivery governance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders
- Experience leading discovery phases and large-scale implementation programmes
- Ability to coordinate third-party implementation partners and internal business teams
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience delivering Salesforce implementation programmes
- Good understanding of the Salesforce platform and CRM transformation
- Experience working on operating model or process transformation initiatives
- Financial Services experience would be advantageous
- Salesforce certifications would be beneficial but are not essential
