I am currently looking for a Change Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end change initiatives across the bank, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, risk and third-party suppliers to coordinate delivery, manage dependencies and drive successful business change across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of business change and transformation projects across retail banking.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, RAID logs, governance packs and delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, Technology, Operations, Risk and Compliance.
  • Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation and escalation where required.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees and stakeholder workshops.
  • Support business readiness activities, including implementation planning, communications and adoption.
  • Ensure projects align with regulatory requirements, business objectives and customer outcomes.
  • Track project progress, reporting on status, milestones and key performance indicators to senior stakeholders.

You'll have:

  • Proven experience delivering change or transformation projects within retail banking or financial services.
  • Strong project management experience across business and technology change initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business, technology and operational teams.
  • A solid understanding of project governance, RAID management, budgeting and delivery reporting.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering digital transformation, customer journey or operational improvement programmes.
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services, including payments, current accounts, lending, mortgages or customer onboarding.
  • PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or equivalent project management certification.

This is an initial 6 month contract working hybrid in London (4 days on site, 1 remote) paying up to £600/day via Umbrella.
