We are exclusively partnering with our client, a mid-size Commercial Distributor specializing in Division 8 materials (Doors & Hardware), on an urgent Project Manager search based out of their Houston, TX headquarters. This person will join a team of Project Managers, all reporting directly into a VP of New Construction.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and construction documents
- Identify and address issues with hardware/door/frame submittals
- Change order pricing
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects at one time
- Jobsite visits, whether just to check in or help diagnose problems
- Work hand in hand with your assigned Engineer
- Client-facing; relay opening-related questions to customer.
- Value Engineering
- Making sure material is on time to meet customer’s schedule
REQUIREMENTS
- Comsense Experience Preferred
- 5+ years’ experience minimum
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Able to participate in a team collaboratively
