Lucas Group has partnered with a growing Manufacturing company in the Alpharetta area seeking to hire a Project Manager. The project manager will be responsible for ensuring the company's performance in response to customer contracts driving projects across the organization while ensuring that the goals and objectives of the business are met.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with the company's customers directly to assess and help meet their needs
- Technical expertise to manage Multiple development and production programs
- Proposal preparation, program planning, customer liaison
- Maintaining Program Budgets
- Solicit Pricing and schedule from suppliers to assist with manufacturing operation
Background/Skill Requirements:
- Understands the perspective and requirements of the customer, both internal and external;
- Does what it takes to serve the customer to meet or exceed their expectations and anticipates future needs of the customer
- Have experience in planning, and ability to think strategically about manufacturing options
- Always be looking forward, proactively searching for new opportunities and ways to improve the company’s position with the customer
- Have prior experience in a manufacturing company
- Be self-motivated and able to perform all duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Be an excellent communicator with an ability to work effectively across the organization
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage difficult situations.
Education Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years as a Project Manager/Planner in a manufacturing environment
- High level of proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Project and ERP/MRP systems.
