Our client, a rapidly growing construction company near downtown Houston, seeks a Project Accountant to add to their team. This is a newly created position due to growth.
The Project Accountant's responsibility is to assist the Project Management team with timely recognition of costs, approval and payment of subcontractors, vendors and suppliers per the specific contract terms, as well as to support the Accounting team with revenue recognition, accurate project
records, and management of the WIP report. The position also works closely with Billing to ensure that the project billing is properly posted and assists the Project Manager with collection efforts.
