Programme / Delivery Manager
Location: Dublin (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
Contract: Initial 6-Month Daily Rate Contract
We are currently seeking an experienced Programme / Delivery Manager to join a large-scale enterprise transformation environment delivering multiple complex technology initiatives across a highly regulated organisation.
This role requires a strong communicator who can operate comfortably across both business and technical teams, managing large delivery functions while engaging senior stakeholders across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving delivery across major strategic programmes with significant visibility at leadership level.
The position would suit someone with a blend of Programme Management and Delivery Management experience, with a stronger emphasis on stakeholder engagement, governance, communication, and overall programme leadership rather than hands-on technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of large-scale technology and transformation programmes
- Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams of up to 50+ FTE across onsite and offshore delivery functions
- Act as the primary interface between senior business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Drive programme governance, planning, RAID management, reporting, and execution oversight
- Facilitate complex technical and non-technical discussions with clarity and confidence
- Ensure alignment across delivery streams, third-party vendors, and leadership teams
- Support strategic decision-making and programme mobilisation activities
- Work closely with architecture, engineering, and product functions to ensure successful programme outcomes
- Provide leadership across fast-paced, evolving delivery environments
Required Experience
- Extensive experience operating as a Programme Manager, Delivery Manager, or in a blended leadership capacity
- Proven track record delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programmes
- Experience managing sizeable delivery teams within complex organisations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement at senior leadership level
- Strong understanding of technology delivery environments without requiring hands-on coding experience
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working within large legacy or enterprise-scale organisations
- Strong governance, risk management, and programme reporting experience
Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering AI-related or data-driven transformation initiatives
- Financial services or regulated industry experience
- Experience working within matrixed or global delivery models
- Exposure to offshore delivery teams and vendor management
