Production Manager (Closed)

To ensure an efficient, safe and productive lean manufacturing process that meets or exceeds customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced environment to ensure manufacturing departments meet and/or exceed 72 hours guarantee at all times
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide clear sense of direction and focus
• Necessary to be resourceful and independent in order to adjust to the ever-changing demands within the business
• Ensure detailed standard work is enforced, improved and focused on quality improvements
• Coordinate, recommend and manage improvements to reduce costs, increase efficiencies and sustain those improvements
• Establish protocols and enforce internal training program and employee cross training programs
• Monitor and manage labor costs to ensure required budget goals are met
• Communicate with Shipping, Customer and Technical Services on a daily basis to ensure delivery requirements are met
• Oversight of Safety programs and improvements across assigned shifts

Education/Background:

• 4+ years of management experience with multiple shifts and departments or equivalent (Required)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
• Experience with and in Lean manufacturing environment (Preferred not required)
