Role Overview
Our financial services client is undertaking a significant digital transformation programme, focused on digitising the end-to-end organisation and reshaping services to become truly customer-centric.
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner / Product Lead to operate at a strategic, enterprise level, working across multiple business areas to define, shape and drive digital products and capabilities. This is a high-profile role suited to a seasoned product professional with strong stakeholder influence and a proven track record in large-scale transformation within financial services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned to enterprise-wide digital transformation objectives
  • Lead the definition of customer-centric digital products and journeys, informed by customer insight, data and regulatory requirements
  • Act as the senior product interface between business leadership, technology teams and delivery partners
  • Translate strategic transformation goals into clear product outcomes, epics and priorities
  • Guide and mentor Product Owners / Analysts working across aligned delivery streams
  • Champion modern product practices, agile ways of working and outcome-based delivery
  • Balance customer experience, commercial value, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to manage expectations, dependencies and change impacts
  • Support transformation governance, business cases and investment prioritisation
Required Experience & Skills
  • Extensive experience operating as a Senior Product Owner / Product Manager / Product Lead
  • Strong background in financial services (banking, payments, insurance or regulated environments)
  • Proven delivery within large-scale digital transformation or enterprise digitalisation programmes
  • Demonstrated success driving customer-centric design and digital experience improvement
  • Experience working across complex organisational structures and influencing at senior leadership level
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills
  • Strong understanding of Agile, product-led delivery models
  • Comfortable working at both strategic and execution levels
Desirable
  • Experience leading products across multiple channels (digital, self-service, operational platforms)
  • Exposure to core system modernisation, platform transformation or legacy replacement
  • Background working in organisations undergoing cultural and operating model change
