Our Financial Services client, based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their delivery team on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define, prioritise and deliver high-value product features aligned to regulatory, customer and commercial objectives.
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is clearly defined, prioritised and aligned with business goals
Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Developers, Testers and Architects throughout the delivery lifecycle
Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement and product reviews
Ensure solutions meet regulatory, risk and compliance requirements within a Financial Services environment
Support UAT activities and sign-off delivered functionality
Monitor product performance and continuously optimise based on feedback and data
Proven experience working as a Product Owner within Banking or Financial Services
Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
Experience managing backlogs and delivering digital or data-driven products
Ability to engage confidently with senior business and technology stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills
