Product Owner
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract
Client: Leading Banking Institution
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Owner to join our banking client's team in Dublin on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on Credit products and processes. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and leadership capability to drive delivery across complex initiatives.
Define, prioritise, and manage the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, translating strategic objectives into actionable requirements.
Lead workshops, sprint planning, and review sessions to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables.
Provide thought leadership and direction in the design and enhancement of credit-related products and systems.
Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery within agreed scope and budget.
Support change management and stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle.
10+ years' experience as a Product Owner in the financial services industry, with a proven track record in product ownership or related leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of Credit products and processes is essential.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
Strong technical understanding coupled with solid business analysis and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
