Lucas Group is partnered with a client and we are searching for a Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing, world-class processes and systems to produce at the lowest cost consistent with optimum quality for complete customer satisfaction.

This new role will require a self-starter who thinks like a Category Expert, who is both strategic and tactical in nature, capable of continuing to build best practices in the organization, while rolling up his/her sleeves to execute within this demanding Category. This person will also need to be an effective communicator and strong collaborator across the organization and with key external partners.

Requirements:

  • Must have 4 years Of Category / Commodity Experience In either Industrial Gas, Pipeline, Or Chemical Manufacturing. (Other backgrounds will not be Considered
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degree, MBA preferred
  • Supported growth projects across Refining and Chemicals
  • Managed a portfolio in the support of Refining and Chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain tactical Client relationship for key portfolio activities; key business interfaces include Manufacturing Site Teams and Refining Executive Leadership.
