Power Process Manager - Pine Bluff, AR (Closed)

What You Will Do:

Responsible for shift production, safety, quality, monitoring on-shift training, maintenance coordination, & environmental compliance for the entire power and recovery area. 

• Manages up to 20 hourly employees on achieving daily performance requirements in all power and recovery areas. Manage on-shift training.
• Responsible for production in all power and recovery areas, including minimizing downtime, and communicating issues appropriately; responsible for safety systems & performance.
• Use Technical Skill process knowledge to troubleshoot process as problems occur.
• Works closely with backshift mechanic to prioritize work.
• Manages costs to effectively make sound decisions.

Education and Work Experience:

• BA/BS (pulp & paper or engineering preferred), or other related equivalent work experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Minimum 5 years of production experience required; some supervisory experience preferred
• 5 years of chemical recovery boiler experience preferred
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and CMMS programs
