This is a senior PMO / programme leadership role supporting a global MedTech transformation portfolio in a highly matrixed environment. The remit spans multiple regions. The engagement begins as a hands-on individual contributor role and will be operationalised into a steady-state PMO model over time.
The role requires someone with strong PMO experience to stand up a PMO quickly, establish governance, tools, templates, reporting cadence and controls and bring immediate structure and momentum to delivery.
A key element of the programme relates to major business separation / divestiture, requiring strong governance, dependency management and stakeholder alignment across diverse technology workstreams.
This is a 12-18 month contract requirement (potential for extension) offering a a cmpetitive daily rate and remote work set-up (occasional travel). ASAP requirement so must be immediately avaiiable.
Stand up and run portfolio governance: cadence, decision forums, stage gates, KPIs/dashboards, executive reporting
Drive delivery discipline across multiple programmes: RAID, dependencies, scope control, change control, resourcing constraints
Partner with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders; present portfolio health, risks, and recommendations to steering committees
Establish/scale PMO frameworks, templates and tooling; improve ways of working across teams and vendors
Oversee portfolio financials: forecasting/budget inputs, tracking benefits and delivery performance
10+ years programme/project management, with 5+ years leading complex global portfolios or PMOs
Proven ability to build/stand up a PMO (processes, governance, reporting, tooling) in a matrixed organisation
Life Sciences / MedTech / Pharma experience
Credible technology background across ERP and infrastructure; SAP / S/4HANA
Self-starter, able to hit the ground running.
