Role Overview:
Lucas Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing company on their search for an HR Manager for one of their key manufacturing facilities, located east of Nashville in the greater-Smithville, TN, area. The HR Manager will lead a team responsible for providing day to day HR support, guidance and advice on company policies and procedures for for over 350 employees at this manufacturing site. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- There is a heavy emphasis on engagement and culture at this location
- Lead execution of performance management process to include succession planning, talent development, and career mapping
- Identify any program gaps related to retention and engagement
- Coach and develop the leadership on employee relations, talent development, and performance initiatives
- Engage in action planning and execution facilitation with client groups
- Perform as liaison between the corporate COEs and the Regional leadership team on all aspects of HR to the local site
- Additional projects as necessary
Requirements:
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment and leading a team of direct reports
- Proven success in driving engagement and fostering a "employer of choice" culture
- Successful experience supporting 300+ employee population
- Excellent problem solving, gap analysis, and business partnering skills
