Role Overview:

Lucas Group has partnered with a $10b+ global manufacturing company on their search for a Plant HR Manager located in the northern Mississippi. The Plant HR Manager is a true generalist role who will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions in a non-union facility. This is strategic thinking individual will also serve as the “go-to” HR “hands-on” support for the facility’s employees.

The focus will be on employee relations, recruiting, change management, continuous improvement, training and much more while partnering closely with plant management.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and drive HR initiatives, policies and procedures
• Source, screen and recommend candidates for employment and conduct new employee orientation
• Organize, implement and administer personnel and labor contracts and projects that align with company goals and objectives
• Develop, write, and update AAP and equal opportunities programs
• Support the administration of Worker’s Compensation and coordination of workplace safety programs
• Conduct training sessions related to Ethics, benefits, safety, or others as required
• Plan and participate in Division Talent Management and Succession Review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+year’s progressive HR experience
• 4+ year’s management experience in a manufacturing environment
• PHR/SPHR certification a plus
