The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Pega Lead System Architects (LSAs) to join a major international public-sector digitalisation programme.
Our client has selected Pega as a strategic platform for its digitalisation strategy and is building a greenfield solution for a business process that is planned to be rolled out across approximately 150 countries.
With the programme expanding, we are looking to onboard 5 Pega LSAs who can combine strong architectural leadership with hands-on Pega engineering.
This is not a purely governance or high-level architecture position. You will remain close to the technology, helping shape the solution while providing technical direction across multiple delivery streams.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Pega Lead System Architect, you will:
- Provide architectural leadership and oversee the technical direction of Pega solutions
- Support multiple parallel delivery streams
- Design, build and maintain enterprise-grade application components on the Pega platform
- Design and implement end-to-end case lifecycles, data models, business logic and UI
- Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP and file-based interfaces
- Ensure solutions adhere to Pega guardrails, design patterns and engineering best practices
- Participate in solution design, estimation and refinement sessions
- Conduct technical and code reviews
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Pega developers
- Work closely with Business Architects, QA, DevOps and other engineering specialists
- Contribute to continuous improvement, DevOps practices and engineering standards
- Help establish scalable solutions suitable for a complex international rollout
