Lucas Group is partnering with a national real estate investment and property management corporation to identify a Payroll Coordinator to support the Payroll Manager with multi-state payroll for 400+ employees.  This could be contract or contract-to-hire, and would begin as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains payroll information as assigned in WFN 
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing and submitting for approval to the Payroll Manager changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, job titles, and payroll changes within the company among other payroll elements.
  • Generates reports for the Payroll Manager by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, and nontaxable wages
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Completes operational requirements; following up on work results
  • Contributes to payroll/human resources team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Experience Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associates’ degree required, Bachelors’ preferred
  • 4+ years of multi-state payroll experience
  • Experience processing in ADP
