Lucas Group has partnered with one of our Oil and Gas clients in on their search for a Payroll Manager. This is a full-time, contract position, with the possibility of converting to a direct hire role.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Handle bi-weekly payroll
- Ensure compliance with federal, multi-state, and local payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, G/L and best practices
- Respond to inquiries surrounding accruals, workers compensation, CAREs Act, etc.
- Build robust custom reports
- HRIS management
Skills Needed:
- Ultipro software experience required
- Strong reporting and issue resolution experience required
- Knowledge of complex matters related to payroll and HRIS
- Workers compensation knowledge required
- Payroll management experience required
- CPP preferred
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Work Experience: 10+ years of payroll experience
