We have partnered with our client in facilities services on their search for a Senior Payroll Specialist (Hybrid role in Roselle, IL). This is a contract role that could turn into permanent employment for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Ensure that all union reporting and certified payrolls are filed in an accurate, timely manner.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Ensures the timely and accurate processing of quarterly and annual state, local, and federal tax filings.
Respond promptly to inquiries for information from external and internal customers including taxing authorities, union representatives, and customers.
Maintain all levels of confidentiality, especially with sensitive payroll information
Skills Required
5+ years, high volume payroll experience
Must have experience calculating Union Benefits / Union Reporting (multi-Union environment)
