Patent Paralegal – Established law firm in Downtown San Diego
Start date is ASAP and we expect the assignment to last 6 months.
Qualifications
- 2 + years of U.S. patent prosecution experience
- B.A. or B.S. Degree
- Preparing and submitting Information Disclosure Statements with the USPTO.
- Major emphasis for this project includes populating the firm’s internal database.
- Bonus to have the following experience: Patent Term Adjustment calculations, Sequence listing preparation, MS Visio, Preparing Canadian Section 29 responses, Preparing Israeli Section 18 responses, Preparing Indian Annexures to Form 3.
Other requirements:
- Availability for overtime as needed
- Solid technical skills including:
- MS Office Suite
- EFS-web
- Patent Application Information Retrieval System (PAIRs
- Time-keeping software (Carpe Diem a plus)
Hours are 37.5 hours/week (plus OT) or 7.5 hours/day (plus OT).
