COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL
- National and local commercial real estate practice representing lenders and borrowers in securitized and traditional mortgage and mezzanine loans
- Acquisition and financing of major development projects nationwide
- Draft assignments, affidavits and supplemental closing documents
- Create and circulate closing checklists from Contract of Sale and lender requirements
- Order zoning reports, review content and resolve any issues reported therein
- Identify, analyze and resolve title and survey issues
- Draft easement agreements, both horizontal and vertical planes
- Draft and file UCC Financing Statements including review of mortgage granting clauses
- Lease review and abstracting of all types of commercial leases, including office, retail and warehouse leases, net leases, subleases and ground leases
- Review of mortgages and related title documents in connection with bankruptcy proceedings
- Perform due diligence in connection with acquisitions of hotel and restaurant properties and corporate/membership interests
- Create and maintain Closing Statements at closing
- Draft title objection letters and closing documents
