Paralegal (Medical Malpractice Defense or PI)
- 2-3+ years experience
- Responsible for legal research, assisting attorney(s) during trials, EBTs, and various client meetings
- Identifying experts, exeprts transcripts and expert workups
- Speaking with vendors for orders/materials relating to trial prep i.e, Verdict Search, Idex, Legal Xray
- Organize and prepare expert materials for review
- Observe confidentiality of client matters; knowledge of HIPPA regulations/requirements; redacting
- Preparation of records for discovery responses to plaintiffs and co-defendants
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience
- Bachelor's degree/ Paralegal Certificate ABA Certified
- Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills are a must
- Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, TOC/TOA format
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Flexible for OT
- Proofread documents for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors before providing documents to their assigned attorney(s)
