Packaging Engineer (Closed)

We are partnered with a global multi-billion-dollar client in the packaging/paper industry in a search for a Technical Account Manager (Packaging Engineer) for their Southeast Missouri location. This person would be there to support the enhancement and growth of their business through the day-to-day management of technology, product, and process development. This will be accomplished through professional and ethical engineering skills, technical service, product development, project management, and the maintenance of key technical relationships. This role will work in close coordination with Key Account Managers and reports directly to the Global Sales Director to assist with the growth of the business.

JOB DUTIES

• Justify, implement and complete projects that will result in cost savings, quality, reliability, and safety improvements in the manufacturing of products. Development and implementation of process and equipment specifications for existing and new P&G processing equipment.
• Development of new products that meet the specification needs of consumers.
• Initiate and complete design of experiments and process capability studies to optimize manufacturing efficiencies of products.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in film making, printing and packaging formats- REQUIRED
• 4-year formal engineering degree or equivalent manufacturing experience with technical training; preferably mechanical, packaging, or chemical engineering discipline.
