Lucas Group has partnered with Growing Engineering Firm in search of a Packaging Designers. Creating packaging equipment layouts and facility design drawings. Candidates need to be proficient in AutoCAD and have a strong understanding of Mechanical Layouts & Equipment Installation.
- Assist design team with 2D and 3D packaging layouts / models within AutoCAD
- Prepare general arrangements, plans, elevations, isometrics and details
- Gather and organize information for developing design drawings; visit client sites as needed to understand existing equipment layouts.
- Work with the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and control disciplines in the overall design coordination
- Minimum of 4+ plus years of relevant work experience.
- 4+ plus years of packaging equipment layout experience.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D AutoCAD.
- 3D experience using Revit is a plus, but not required...
- Ability to convert PID’s to equipment layouts (both 2D and 3D) is required.
- 20 % travel required
