Oracle ICM Configuration & Enablement Lead

We have partnered with our client in their search for an Oracle Incentive Compensation Management Configuration & Enablement Lead. This individual will provide hands-on Oracle ICM configuration support while working side by side with the internal team to strengthen its technical capabilities and prepare it to independently manage future configuration work.

Role Summary
The Oracle ICM Configuration & Enablement Lead will support an enterprise Oracle ICM implementation as the organization transitions from its initial deployment into the next phase. This role requires a hands-on practitioner who can increase configuration capacity, stabilize existing functionality, troubleshoot issues, and embed knowledge transfer directly into the work.

The successful candidate will not simply take configuration responsibilities away from the internal team. They will explain how and why configurations are developed, involve internal team members throughout the process, and progressively transition ownership to them.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on configuration within Oracle Incentive Compensation Management.
  • Configure compensation plans, crediting rules, rate tables, formulas, calculation rules, and participant assignments.
  • Support stabilization, testing, and issue resolution for the initial Oracle ICM deployment.
  • Build and configure functionality required for the next deployment phase.
  • Diagnose defects involving source data, transaction processing, crediting, calculations, and configuration logic.
  • Execute and validate Oracle ICM transaction and data loads.
  • Reconcile configuration and calculation results to confirm accuracy.
  • Work side by side with internal configurators throughout design, build, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Explain configuration decisions, technical processes, and troubleshooting methods in a practical and accessible manner.
  • Provide hands-on coaching that enables internal team members to progressively assume ownership of Oracle ICM.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Document configuration decisions and operating procedures required for long-term support.

Required Qualifications

  • Deep incentive compensation management experience with recent hands-on Oracle ICM experience.
  • Demonstrated experience personally configuring Oracle ICM, including compensation plans, crediting rules, rate tables, formulas, calculation rules, and participant assignments.
  • Experience performing Oracle ICM transaction or data loads and validating the resulting calculations.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across source data, configuration, crediting, and calculation logic.
  • Experience supporting Oracle ICM testing, UAT, stabilization, and production deployment activities.
  • Ability to balance hands-on execution with embedded training and knowledge transfer.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts and configuration decisions to developing team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external implementation partners.
