The Senior Oracle Engineer will support the design and delivery of Oracle enterprise applications, middleware platforms, and integrated ecosystems. This role acts as a key technical contributor on transformation programs involving Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM, EPM, and AI-enabled capabilities, working alongside senior architects and enterprise architecture teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The position offers visibility into cross-functional stakeholder discussions and provides opportunities to contribute to architecture standards, integration design, and delivery execution in a global enterprise setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and implement solution architecture components for Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, EPM), following established enterprise standards and guidance from senior architects.
Work with Enterprise Architecture and cross-functional teams to build integrated system landscapes, data flow models, and reusable design patterns.
Apply established architecture principles, integration practices, and technology roadmaps to ensure scalability, security, and consistency in solution delivery.
Support the adoption of AI, machine learning, and automation within Oracle ecosystems to improve workflows, analytics, and reporting.
Design and build integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and middleware technologies to enable system interoperability.
Contribute to hybrid delivery efforts across onshore, offshore, and partner teams, providing day-to-day technical guidance and quality checks on designs.
Translate business requirements into technical designs, integration models, and implementation plans for assigned workstreams within larger programs.
Participate in architecture governance and review forums, helping identify risks and resolve technical dependencies.
Serve as a technical point of contact for project teams and business stakeholders, communicating solution designs in clear, accessible terms.
Share architectural best practices and AI-enabled optimization patterns with peers and junior team members.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Oracle certifications a plus.
6-10 years of progressive experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, preferably SCM
Experience contributing to or supporting technology and architecture decisions within a project or program.
Exposure to hybrid delivery models, including collaboration with offshore partners and systems integrators.
Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions, and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs).
Hands-on experience with middleware and enterprise integration using Oracle Integration Cloud or similar
Familiarity with AI-enabled solution design, automation, or predictive analytics is a plus.
Basic understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and secure integration models.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
