Oracle Fusion SCM / QTC Lead
Minnesota Based HQ – Remote
Contract-to-hire

Summary:
Our client is in the middle of a large and long-term Oracle Fusion implementation, re-implementation and enterprise transformation initiative ( led by the business, not IT ).   We are looking for a Business systems lead / manager to join the IT Transformation COE and partner w/ the business led COEs. This senior resource must have Oracle Fusion deployment experience with expertise in Supply Chain Management ( SCM ) and modern Quote to Cash processes and sub-modules.  This is a highly critical and complex role with high visibility and impact. This person will work with a large 3rd party integrator and ask questions, represent the customer, and understand best practices, etc.  These modules touch the customer which adds an extra layer of complexity and consideration.

  • Proven recent / relevant experience as a leader of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management (SCM) within manufacturing industry (ideally a make-to-order environment)
    • Architect, technical manager, Lead type roles
      • Exposed to QTC sub finance/supply chain modules and process:
        • Order management ( inventory, quotes, sales order, pricing, etc.) to Receivables ( invoice, contracts, billing, instances, etc. )
        • CPQ, AR, Revenue management, Collections, etc.
  • We are looking for exposure and understanding working in a “ business-led implementation”,  not IT-led.
    • Someone who knows the “oracle step-by-step implementation guide” isn’t the right fit. There are over 60 subsidiary companies under this umbrella. This individual will work with the Enterprise Business Owner and 3rd party implementation partner to ask appropriate technical questions to both sides, support the business owner and own the 3rd party relationship.
  • Can push back on business requirements and/or 3rd party integrator design as needed (example: can define a strategy for near and longer term scope, can work with partners to standardize inconsistent or non-leading practice requirements, can identify when proposed solutions are difficult to maintain [i.e. just because we can doesn’t mean we should], can help define guardrails … and more importantly can identify when pushback is required
