ORACLE FIELD SERVICES CONSULTANT
Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Field Services Consultant to provide independent oversight, architecture validation, and program governance for an enterprise field services implementation. The program has completed major design and implementation work and is now moving through phased rollout. The Techno-functional Oracle Field Services Consultant will help ensure the solution is architecturally sound, properly governed, aligned to business goals, and ready for upcoming rollout phases. This is a senior advisory and risk-mitigation role, where you will be working closely with internal stakeholders across the organization and various entities. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent oversight of the Oracle Field Services implementation.
- Review solution architecture, integration design, and technical delivery approach.
- Assess implementation quality, scalability, and alignment with the operating model.
- Evaluate systems integrator performance, delivery discipline, cost, and quality.
- Identify technical, governance, rollout, and vendor-related risks.
- Strengthen program governance, decision-making, and escalation processes.
- Review backlog items, enhancement requests, and business-unit requirements.
- Validate the implementation roadmap and rollout readiness.
- Work directly with Oracle, the systems integrator, technical teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations on risk mitigation and potential SI transition planning.
- Operate discreetly in a sensitive vendor-management environment.
Requirements
- Deep Oracle Field Services experience.
- Strong Oracle Integration Cloud expertise.
- Oracle B2B experience or understanding preferred.
- Previous experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
- Enterprise solution architecture review experience.
- Technical governance and implementation oversight experience.
- Systems integrator oversight or vendor-performance assessment experience.
- Strong risk-identification and mitigation skills.
- Experience with phased enterprise rollouts.
- Ability to communicate credibly with C-level stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
- Executive presence, independence, and discretion.
- Experience in field services, utilities, construction, engineering, or distributed workforce environments.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, field service, or workforce management integrations.
- Experience supporting vendor transition or contingency planning.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 retirement or migration programs.
